From 4 to 13 July, Santarcangelo Festival returns, a live performance event with Italian and international guests: one of the most significant European events for theatre and dance, which transforms the medieval town into a 'festival city' for 10 days.

Piazza Ganganelli is the heart of the Festival: between the 18th century triumphal arch and the circular fountain designed by Tonino Guerra, some of the festival performances will be staged.

Born as 'Street Theatre', the Festival is also a venue for workshops, seminars and meetings, and innovative publishing projects.
Theatres, houses, gyms, tuff quarries, streets and squares will be the stage for many different shows and events. The aim is to recover the surprising effect of the theatrical performance and reconnect with the inhabitants of the city, also with reference to its ancient but still living origins.
